This is Why we all 'Dream'

This is Why we all Dream
We know that the rear portion of our brain gets pretty active during REM sleep, when most dreaming occurs. Some think that it's just the brain winding down for the night and that dreams are random and meaningless firings of the brain that we
don't have when we're awake. But this not the entire picture and we have many dream theories put forth by science some explain links between dreams and memory answering this question.
There are many theories that tries to explain reason and function of dreams. Today we'l discuss six popular theories

Dreams are the ways of revealing wishes and emotions you never realized you had. unburying hidden emotions you never dealt
Dreams are just side-effect of activated signals in the brain. When the brain tries to interpret these signals we experience dreams

Dreams are just flashes of short-term memories that are stored on temporary spots, before turning into long-term memory
Dreams are just ways to remind us what we once forgot & helps us retain things that we had learned, long ago. Consolidating Memory
Dreams are related to the evolution of our mind. It stimulates fear & threatening events to prepare us for real life situations

Dreams are imaginary ways to fulfill our wishes which are impossible in reality. Like exploring the universe, flight and much more.
We are rapidly progressing in the
field of Neuroscience and in near
future scientists will surely find
out 'Why We Dream'
